And yes Lou Dobbs(elitst harvard grad) would of made a spectacle of this had it been a Mexican illegal or not. I don't need any YouTube videos, I can hear his dribble daily on CNN. His entire focus on illegal immigration is a false front for his anti-Latin American sentiment. He has perpetrated several lies on TV about illegal immigrants, specifically mischaracterizing those of Mexican, Central and South American descent, yet when faced with the facts over his mis-statements, he has refused to recant. His segments focus almost exclusively on immigrants from one direction, across the Southern U.S. border with Mexico, despite the fact that half the number of immigrants who enter this country aren't from Latin America at all. Furthermore, Dobb's bubbling support for border vigilantism further betrays any objectivity he may claim, if you look up any of these groups, you can clearly see that they are thinly veiled white supremacist hate groups. Again, he hasn't distanced himself from them or recanted his support despite being faced with these facts...

Sure the racism isn't painted across Lou's face, but his obsession with Latin Americans betrays what lies beneath the surface. Though racism may have gone "underground", what people clearly aren't seeing today is that the vitriol expressed by the "news" media and pundits is simply racism hooded beneath the hoods of innuendo and inference. I honestly think that people have just become either desensitized, ignorant of the fact, or purely complicit in the matter. I believe Lou Dobbs is knowingly complicit, despite his best efforts to suggest otherwise.

Hmm. It does seem like he might use questionable sources, and presents a one-sided view of the issue.

However, I also think he's right that their is an effort to paint concerns over illegal immigration as being inherently motivated by racism, which is not necessarily the case.
