I, uh, I don't even know how to respond to this. This feels like some real Manchurian Candidate style shit right here...

Well, for some reason the above link isn't working, so let's try again.

The Kennedy's are having a grand ole time right now, so let's bring up the assassination of one of their family members, and also allude to...Well, I think it goes without saying what this kind of talk alludes to.

Nolan, your link's down but I guess your referencing this?

Clinton reference's RFK's assassination in an explanation about why she has yet to drop out?

She's pretty far gone in terms of how separated she is from reality, but I don't honestly see her trying to encourage her supporters to take a shot at the second best protected man in the country. RFK Jr has said she's mentioned this previously, as an example of how long primaries can go on, not as a mention of gun play in Presidential politics.

I'm curious to see what Teddy's gonna say, though.

Yeah, that's it. When it's at this point, and she's already said so much crazy shit, I really wonder. And even so, have some fucking decency for cryin' out loud. Ted just got out of the fucking hospital, and now this is going to be all over the place. I'm sure that's exactly the kind of thing he wants to see all over the papers and cable news networks now that he's just got the malignant brain cancer news.

I wondered when or whether the assasination remark would come up. Did it remind anyone else of her strategy of prefacing her attacks on Barry with, "The Republicans will say..."

She might as well say, "Will no one rid me of this troublesome priest?"

Keith Olbermann lays the smack down. Thanks to the Liberal Politics group for posting this link.

I don't know about you guys, but I actually feel a lot better about the whole dragged-out nomination process after watching that. Inexplicably so.

So Hillaryists would rather vote for this bumbling sack of lies..

Than vote for Obama?

Yeah, that totally makes sense.

Y'all are catchin' on. Gender Feminism is an absolute thing. As we progress from the denial phase into anger, here we sit in the "it's all about ME" campaign. Karma does not apply to chosen ones. The spoilers are gonna get meaner by the minute, not to mention how to get that$11M back in the bank account without gettin' caught. mad

I like how the host slips in "Talk about how you really feel" right after her little gaff. Seriously, its so ironic that earlier in that interview, they mention that through Clinton's comments "we have seen an X-ray of a very dark soul", yet they end up doing the same thing with Obama...

To that note, I can't help reiterating some of the thoughts I've been sharing on the CE boards recently. First, that much of America has been infected with a serious illness: hate. It seems to me that the pompous purveyors of racism, sexism, xenophobia, etc. have been running a silent campaign to try and divide Americans through fear of diversity rather then embrace and unite under the umbrella of diversity. Often they use subtle and coded words that may come across as acceptable yet are implicit in their meaning. Similarly, there is an association of negativity campaign that has been crafted to reinforce fears (often through repetition of themes and images) or by subliminally merging two unrelated ideas into one.

A classic example is bridging together political activism with radicalism over to extremism and on to terrorism (a strategy that former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales may have employed as a means to support domestic spying programs while simultaneously silencing, exacerbating and demonizing legitimate, peaceful activist groups and activities). Its sort of an Orwellian method of Newspeak, where language itself is twisted into a means of control and fear.

Finally, on the idea of Obama and association to RFK and JFK. I've seen and am quite disturbed by this subtle association with assassination being repeated over and over on Fox News, even before Clinton's own wretched comments. Not surprising since these days, it seems Hillary Clinton has been taking her cues from Rupert Murdoch (who supports her campaign!) and Karl Rove (who, despite all his statements to the suggest otherwise, really wants to sit on her lap).

Sigh... Oh well. I hope she finally, quietly goes away.

No Apocalypse for you, they were condemning Hillary for suggesting or implying assassination and then end up doing it themselves. They just cant help slipping back into their cozy backwards world... Perhaps they're just confused with the way they've been treating Clinton over the last several years, hate Hillary, praise Hillary, hate Hillary, kill Osam, er Obama, er, well both if we could... Whoops!

Once the soapboxed agitators are out of the limelight, we probably won't hear much more about disgruntled feminists against Obama. All the hype has been a double-edged sword and has been counter-productive if you ask me. The whole "sexist" attack was just another low-brow tactic from the Clinton campaign. Clinton's been baiting Obama the whole time, egging and bullying him to no avail. If nothing else, through her negative tact, she's make herself appear unattractive to voters and it has nothing to do with her sex. Yet when ever someone points out her faults of character, out come the cries of sexism... Simply unconscionable.
