As far as I'm concerned, it doesn't matter. He's the nominee anyway.

You know, Ive changed my mind. I dont think she should give up. The math is against her, its obvious, as she has t pick up 300 delegates to his 100. But this is the closest a woman (or a black man) has ever been to being president yet. Let em both run. This is historic.

Agreed.

Yeah, don't worry about all that money that is not going to lower tier candidates because she is staying in the race.

State level Dems are freaking out, guys. Freaking out. They can't raise a dime.

You're kidding, right? Donations to local races are up because so many people are paying attention to the primaries and because more people are going Dem this year. The DCCC is raking in the donations (and since Obama's got plenty for the big show, they're dumping that cash into local races). It's a banner year for Democratic fundraising.

There are a lot of problems with Clinton staying in the race, but drying reservoirs of donor cash isn't one of them.

The Republicans' Fundraising Bright Spot: RNC Trumps DNC Again

The Republican National Committee (RNC) raised $20 million in April, the first full month in which Arizona Sen. John McCain campaigned as the presumed GOP presidential nominee.

The RNC's April take, which it disclosed in a report it filed Tuesday to the Federal Election Commission (FEC), was the most it has raised in any month in the 2007-08 election cycle. Its partisan counterpart, the Democratic National Committee (DNC), reported raising $4.8 million in April %u2014 less than one-fourth of the RNC's receipts. The DNC has raised less than the RNC in each of the 16 months this election cycle.

It doesn't matter. He'd have to win every remaining state by more than 70% in order to get 2026.
