As someone who lives in a country where I don't have to pay for health care, I just find it funny when I hear people saying a government health care system will destroy the country. Surely if my country can do it, you guys should be able to do it a hell of a lot better.

Yeah, but you guys have . . . you have . . . what the hell do you have?

It's not what we do have, it's what we don't have. A horrendously expensive and pointless war, for example.

Cowards.

Cowards with free health care, even.

What's the point of it if you never risk your necks?

Sorry for the double post, but I couldn't pass this one up.

Apparently for Blast, the only reason we should have health care is to patch up veterans that we send out to kill people. Never mind things like cancer, AIDS, pregnancy... y'know, stuff that hospitals take care of that doesn't occur as a consequence of people shooting at each other.

Shut up, please.

That Was Some Good Shit!!!!
This was a very good article- and though I have always had a lot of respect for Obama- I now do have a bit more...
The Chelsea Clinton comment? That is just not something you say... ( true or not- and I think she is kind of cute, and certainly has a unique and individual look)
And the c#%t comment? that is pretty much of sign of what kind of person we are dealing with...I don't believe I have ever used that...even with my ex-wife...and even her mom...
Then again, I hate WWF- maybe shows what kind of person I am...

I have a lot of things to say about the whole video interview:

1. When he says that he the attacks on his wife "totally unacceptable". First off, what's HE gonna do? Oh no! My political opponent finds something I said "totally unacceptable" RUN AWAAAAAAAY! I'm not sure how you can say that's manish in the slightest. Of course, what could he do? Jack shit, but because just like Michelle Obama, the Tennesse GOP has the freedom to say whatever they want.

2. "The GOP ... can say what ever they want about me": What a load shit. Last week Obama threw tantrum over Bush's warnings against appeasing terrorists (very thoughtful and intelligent comments, as it turns out), and his name wasn't even in the speech. Obama needs to think long and hard about being president, because the interviewer hit on the head. You see what kind of stuff everyone says about Bush, and about his family, and if Obama wants to be president himself, he's probably going to have to put up with the same amount of abuse.

3. "For them to.. play snippets of her remarks that are unflattering to her.": I have a brilliant idea, for both Michelle and Barack. If you don't want people playing remarks that are unflattering to you, how about not getting up in front of a podium and saying remarks that are unflattering to you. It's just that simple.

4. I guess it's perfectly ok to accuse McCain of "Losing his bearings" due to his age. That's not an attack or smear in the slightest, is it? The hypocracy is thick enough to cut with a knife.

Alright guys, feel free to tell me I'm wrong, but I can just sense that Obama is a disaster waiting to happen.

bout fucking time somebody said it. when you run for presidency you put it all on the table. when your wife run s her mouth it also gets put on the table shit happens. tell her to shut the fuck up or get in the car and go along for the hell ride that is the campaign ride.

reading through the comments thus far has reminded me of something patton oswald said about the republicans (but it fits in with all political junkies) talking shit about their candidate is like talking shit about you buddies girlfriend. no matter what you say about all the fucked up half assed bullshit they pull they will still defend them with "but like she washes my clothes and gave me a blow job last week she's not that bad". it was an epiphany when this line was said and i wish i had wrote it cause it's true.

a campaign based on change with no substance is invigorating obama definitely has cult of personality but i wonder how much he will really do. haw much CHANGE he will actually bring to the plate. i am ecited both a woman and a black man are running for president we are evolved but if they are just that a woman and a black man they bring little to the table. to run a campaign on change with vague concepts and little substance are just that. i mean shit lets see what happens and if they bring something awesome but the only one that was bringing official change and radical thoughts was ron paul and that fucker way way to wild for mainstream america to get behind him whatsoever. what a fucking shame.
