I want to buy one acre and build one large building that fills the entire acre and has loudspeakers built into the sides blasting Dead Voices on Air 24 hours a day while behind the outer walls will be pools of ammonia and chlorine.

The outer walls will be covered in aluminum foil (or some other high-glare reflective material) and it will fly a balloon above it carrying a fans blowing the fumes from the chemicals onto adjoining plots and a sign which reads "TOTAL FREEDOM."

will you decorate the walls with the skulls of the fallen, too? that would make it epic.

That sounds like a great place for a poultry-byproducts rendering plant, right in the middle of town.

Preferably one that takes up the entire acre.

...and has no air-quality controls.

I'm free to run my business any way I want, without government opression, man!

Screw you guys. For $500 an acre, I'll buy nine shares, move to Paulville, and have eight acres' worth of moat.

That sounds like a plan. Maybe we can have adjoining moats? Neighbor.
It's highly unlikely that the clones from any of my experiments will be able to swim.
Any time soon I mean. The gills won't be fully functional for another 200 generations.

Depends on how you feel about nonlinear architecture. I'm having my clock tower built so that the full moon shines dramatically behind it from any angle at any time.

In Paulville, you can do anything.

Ia Ia Ronpaulhu ftaghn!

You aren't invited.

I'll set up my castle across the street. My moat will have lava - free trade lava.

Ha ! Forget it.

The Constitution doesn't say anything about free-trade lava.
But, but it's a living document! We can re-write it to include the freedom to have a free-trade lava moat! Anything is possible in Pauville.

Maybe the insane price of land where I live is throwing me off, but are there actually places in the US where you can get land for $500 an acre? You couldn't get a parking spot worth of land for $500 around here.

Yeah but there will be no infrastructure in that area. I can only imagine what the roads would look like there.....

over half the people who'd sign up already have their own "gated communities" (militia compounds).

You know, I was just thinking about that and I can see one or more of these being attacked by US gov forces because the whackjobs try to break away from the US and start trouble. the pretext will be that they were buying and stockpiling weapons and artillery.

All the more reason to invade Paulsylvania. I for one believe that those castles were just thinly disguised vampire breeding factories. and the antennas on top of that big one over there are used for the collection of lightning for the reanimation of dead tissue, the kind of dead tissue recently dug up from fresh graves and sewn back together to form some sort of flesh golem zombie like creature. It's crazy but it's the type of horror novel insanity that only a woman could dream of.

All the more reason that we need to invade and spend 100,000 years there keeping the peace. Vampires are immortal and they won't soon forget their hatered of America and all the freedom and crosses it represents.

If you were a chick I'd say prove it by having sex so I could see your spine glow, but your not and I'm not gay so I'll take your word for it.
