Goodbye Elliot Spitzer.

This debacle is a real shame. Ok my 2 cents... The man made his mark supposedly cleaning up Wall Street. Hey does anyone remember the Wall Street analysis scandal? You know the one where houses had their analysts give phony reports touting the benefits of companies they did business with to their "lay" clients? Billions of dollars were lost by the little people who trusted that the advice they were being given by said analysts could be trusted. The amount lost was GINORMOUS and millions of small investors got royally fucked. You know how many people got prosecuted? NONE. The houses payed large fines (and I cant believe Im saying that with a straight face) some of these fines were record breakers for the SEC and yet in comparison to the amount of profits generated for the houses and the amount lost by all the "little" people the fines were token amounts probably akin to if you were asked to pay a couple of buck overdue library fee. Now, yup, I'm of the opinion that he like so many other attorneys and people involved in the orwellian horror that we have allowed the American legal system to become is a phony and a hypocrite but lets talk about what he really did. The only ones he owes an apology to are his wife and kids. When you have a family and your a cheating scumbag you cheat on your kids and shame them too. Prostitution however is just NOT WRONG unless the prostitute is being forced to do so against their will. Prostitution should be legalized and regulated. What I'm curious about is the hubris that ES exhibited I mean his wife is beautiful and smart. Most men would count themselves lucky to have a woman like her and a family like he has and yet he felt the need to be banging some courtesan. I think because well he's a big dog and our culture says he deserves a little some'n on the side. The legal profession and by that I mean not just attorneys but also cops, jail guards, judges, paralegals, stenographers, etc... everyone who makes a buck off it have destroyed everything about our nation that made it great. These assholes and their law for profit system have got to go. The second it becomes in any way about making money they have betrayed not only the public trust but the constitution and the founders. The legal juggernaut must be reigned in. The whole thing is completely out of control and really the time has come. Something must be done. We have voluntarily given over all our freedoms to assholes who's only interest is lining their own pockets. The prostituion hypocricy is typical. Legalize and regulate it. Up with courtesans!
