damn that huckabee wanting to make state and religion the same....but if I am not mistaken, I think you'll find 5 of the ten commandments already are actual laws in most countries.

Do not steal..again, that is law.
do not lie...defamation, liable, false testimony,perjury..these are all laws.
do not covet your neighbors wife/house..indeed in some states if you get caught dipping your pen in someone else ink..you can find yourself before the court.
do not commit adultery...same as above...in some states whether your the pen or ink that is getting dipped makes no difference.
and on a abstract level....makes no idols or graven images...well to many,..money is their god..so this basically covers counterfeiting...which is also a law.
we all may as well take that last wee step and just enact all commandments in our laws, so are so close as it is.

Have you ever researched the other side of those biblical laws ? I'm referring to he punishments of course.
How about a little lead in with that often forgotten first commandment of Gods. "Thou shalt have no other gods before me".
Deuteronomy 17:1-5 "And hath gone and served other gods, and worshiped them, either the sun, or moon, or any of the host of heavens, which I have not commanded. Then shalt thou bring forth that man or that woman, which have committed that wicked thing and shalt stone them with stones, till they die"
