But...everyone realizes its not the Clinton campaign filing the lawsuit, right? The article uses the word "allies". Its 6 Nevada democrats and a woman who is a MEMBER of Clinton's Nevada Women's Leadership Council. Not pointing any fingers here, but all over the web the jump from Point A to Point K is frustrating.
The precincts were a lame idea in the first place, but its not surprising to me that supporters of a now-struggling candidate would file something like this. Of course they would. How is this news?

Kinda naive to not believe it was coordinated between the two camps, especially considering the timing of union endorsements for Obama and the success he had in Iowa. I mean, they could have filed the lawsuit in March, when the process was decided.

The Clinton campaign camp and the lawsuit-bringers? Maybe. I'd imagine the Clinton camp would rather have plausible deniability about it, so would probably be doing a kind of "don't ask, don't tell" (er...no reference intended) thing. I'm not saying they aren't filing it BECAUSE of the endorsement, of course they are. I'm clarifying (because it has remained unclarified elsewhere) that it is not the Clinton campaign bringing the suit.
I guess ultimately it feels like ordinary politics to me: tactical, and kinda ruthless. But not anything any other campaign supporters wouldn't do for their man (or woman).
