You know whenever I hear that part about "God wanted me to be president!" I think back to the times when crusaders got their ass kicked by Salah Ad-Din.
You know I was about to bring it up but since Toku666 already brought it up, I too would like to know what has been made of that "incident" with Iran. I don't get CNN where I am now (which was the only american news channel I had) and it was only on the newspapers, though most of the headliners talked about a "provocation" and an "insult" that "nearly declenched war"...

I haven't heard it mentioned much, and it's dropped off the front pages. I suspect the media, at least, is starting to realize that we should be embarrassed by the whole thing.
It's a good thing for Bush that his family and the Saudi royal family are old chums. His "approval rating" in the country itself is around 10% - he's trailing Ahmadinejad and Osama bin Laden by a few percent.
