CNN projects a McCain win. Once again, Romney is a distant 2nd.

Still, even if he eventually edges ahead to win, doesn't look like it'll be the huge victory expected for Obama. If he loses, I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out that most of the independents voted in the Republican race, for McCain, and that Hillary's vote came mainly from the die-hard Democrats.

McCain is worrysome because given Hillary or Obama as opponents, he could win. Then again, McCain might not be so bad as a president, all things considered. It's not like he'll be worse than Bush.

Exit polls say the Dem race is too close to call.

That's why I'm really hoping the Republicans nominate Huckabee or Giuliani.

The Republican race is completely wide open from here on out. I'd be really really surprised if McCain ends up being the nominee, though. Romney might win Michigan, and then Huckabee could take South Carolina. It's definitely a battle-royal situation.

Hopefully the Reps fight it out bitterly until May and the Dems can pick someone early. I think Edwards will drop out after South Carolina, which will give Obama a massive bump and he will go on to win.

I really want to see Ron Paul beat Giuliani (I'm not a Paultard, I'd just like to see anyone beat Giuliani).

Based on exit polling numbers, it looks like Hillary won. Seems all the misogynist media bullshit the past week had an effect. 57% of voters were women.

And I hope that everyone who beats Rudy owns a ferret (if you are not a NYer Google it). Any city or state that wants Rudy can have him, I make this offer on behalf of all sane New Yorkers.

Quasi-related note: Obama had more women vote for him in Iowa than Hillary.

I think this is more a reaction to Hillary crying and the media's blatant misogyny this past week. A lot of women in New Hampshire were particularly upset about it.

The misogyny or the reaction?

The misogyny has been on the TV, yes. And in print, etc.
