I'll miss your articles, DG. They always gave me a chuckle, and this one was no exception.

To be fair, I wouldn't have noticed that either, since after discovering how much I disliked her articles I've never again read one. (And I don't go to the News interface - I read all the news articles through the boards.)

He was proceeding from a false premise. Each former Newswirer's final article was posted at the same time, and while SleepyLady's article was on top of the Newswire blurbs, "this is my last article for the Newswire" was visible on the front page. It really wouldn't have been hard to check.

Again, assuming that one reads the newswire through that tab or visits the front page ever. I don't. And I would imagine I'm not alone.

So sorry to see you are leaving. I can't understand why SG is making these cuts... The Newswire just won't be the same without you, WilWheaton and SleepyLady (and whoever else has gotten the axefrown )

Best of luck with everything you do from here on out _DictionaryGirl_. And a very happy new year!

You were the sexiest co-worker I've ever had, sweetheart. And a hell of a writer. Let me know where you end up.

I think the writers here suck. I am not a writer and I would not claim a spot here and force my views on everyone else, basically the way the writers here work.
Ron Paul holds 5-10% vote in most states, which is 3rd-5th place, so why focus 95% of the smear campaign on him?
And the Democrats get a free pass to raise taxes?

Another thing that gets to me about the writers is the use of Fuck in every title. It shows the education level, lacking... Dont pretend to be a writer, just leave...

FUN FACT: I did not say "fuck" once in this whole particular article, let alone the title. In fact, I didn't swear at all! The only word I can even think of that might offend some people is "Paultard," but come on now -- if you're going to support a lunatic-fringe candidate, you may as well get used to some heckling.

I'm not going to front like I don't swear like a longshoreman on occasion; I'm just saying that if swearing is your main beef with the newswire staff, perhaps you should save it for the next Asshole Fuckface Round-Up. I'm sure FTR will find you just the cutest little thing. <3

And as for the rest of you: aww. blush Unfortunately I don't quite know where I'll be writing next, aside from my dumb seasonal soda blog (which I am sorely late in starting this year and need to get cracking on), but I promise that, once I do, you'll be the first to know. wink

"Dumb seasonal soda blog?" How ELSE am I supposed to know which horrible-tasting holiday sodas to buy for people I don't like? Sheesh woman, you're doing us all a public service!

Please tell me that you'll be including the Jones Soda Seattle Seahawks NFL Soda Collector Pack in your next tasting.

Who can resist the allure of flavors like "Dirt", "Perspiration" and "Sports Cream"?

Yeah, it's pretty much fantastically charming and hilarious.

Seeing someone else try those... wholesome and hygienic flavors would make me melt into a puddle of laugh tears - peppered with the dry heaves, of course.

There is no "smear campaign." He's getting negative attention because he is a fucking racist lunatic who wants to gut the federal government.

I see your opinion has changed a bit.

More like proof that Oyaji -- to quote the great Dave Chappelle in his magnum opus Half Baked -- "smokes entirely too much reefer." ooo aaa
