But wait, I thought black holes were designated as such because their gravity is so dense that light (or electromagnetic radiation) can't escape... so what energy is this that found a way to beat the system?
Where can I find these answers? Should I start with the old or the new testament?
It's one of those things we think we have figured out, until everything goes all topsy-turvy and researchers have to rethink everything.
I think the correct answer is "Jesus."
Edit: Make that baby Jesus. Baby Jesus sounds more logical.

Incidentally, this is not a Rocky scenario nor a death star scenario, your average galaxy is approximately 6*10^13 times bigger then your average earth like planet, whereas earth is merely 7*10^6 times bigger then Rocky.
Let me reiterate, the thing that is pummeling the other thing while we look on is so big that if you take an earth sized rocky with a planet to scale, and then take a Rocky the size of that planet, then the planet to scale for that rocky would be about the same size as the objects we're talking about.
Or put yet another way, If you had a darth vader walking around on this death star galaxy like our familiar Darth walks around under the surface of the real fictional death star our earth would be somewhat smaller to him then a hydrogen atom is to us.
