Awesome story. I personally would have deathcoiled and used my nifty pocketwatch in the hopes that I lost aggro before the speed boost wore off. The point of my post? Give warlocks feign death!
As if warlocks aren't OP enough as is. L2play.
actually it looks like warlocks have been knocked down a bit thanks to 2.3. a lot of stuff breaks fear now, and there's still the trinket and such. i can't remember much of anything specific (i'm tired, sue me), but seems they're falling prey to rogues a lot more, now, at the very least. still really dangerous in skilled hands, but no longer auto-WIN anymore.
wait, i mean LESS QQ, MORE PEWPEW, dEREK_The_Red!
and i would have hit Evasion long enough for the sister to get away, then Vanished.
I'll believe it when warlocks aren't dominating arenas anymore.
...i am not sure this can be credited to WoW,..playing possum has been an age old technique embedded in the human psyche since antiquity...however i hope at level 35 he learns the "climb tree" skill, laying lifeless in front of an enrage moose was a pretty 50/50 call. Double thumbs up for protecting the sister, you can't learn that sort of bravery in a video game.

yes, but that's arenas. and those guys are probably really good with their class. the changes have stopped locks from being an almost automatic win 1 on 1, which mainly takes place in world PvP. locks will still be really good in arenas because they can just stack on the damage with their instant DOTs and abilities which work with the "run and gun" style of arenas.
i'm not a fan of arenas. it completely blows for one of my favorite classes: mage.
