PS - Someone needs to do some serious ballot stuffing on that Slashdot poll because DS9 is currently beating TOS. surreal

TNG is still way out in front (because of the rocking, obviously) so no need for you to crusty up yer PJs again, Wil.

But someone should perhaps phone George Takei or Leonard Nimoy or something...

I hated star trek, we had to watch it every day at 7 or go to bed. those were our options thanks to the Ruler of the Remote(grandpa), but after a couple of years it grew on me, and I actually grew anxious to see the next episode. When TNG ended, I couldn't bring myself to get into DS9 or Voyager. The characters didnt command my attention, the stories didnt interest me as much. plus they didnt have that cute doc's boy to add to my little geek girl list of reasons to watch. wink

your new book is great btw, thanks for the copy. The fond memories were touching and greatly entertaining to read. smile
