I think the saddest, and most pathetic thing about this whole thread, is the 'ironic' comments being thrown about. How many people who have commented here can honestly say they've ever read the Holy Qur'an?
There is so much ignorance about Islam (worldwide) that frankly, it's not surprizing that media spin like 'rage boy' works on people who just need a push in the right direction to turn from a bleeding heart liberal, into an over-opinionated bigot.
Here's the scoop with Islam: There are passages in the Holy Qur'an which can be taken out of context to be violent, but there are also passages which insist that a person has the right to their own religious opinion, and that a person has free choice to believe or not, specifically stating:
Let there be no compulsion in religion
and:
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
[109.1] Say: O unbelievers!
[109.2] I worship not that which ye worship,
[109.3] And ye do not worship that which I worship;
[109.4] I shall never worship that which ye worship,
[109.5] Neither will ye worship that which I worship;
[109.6] To you be your religion; To me my religion.
With regards the comment about Christians supporting the death sentance, despite the Bible's commandment 'Thou Shalt Not Kill', folks need to remember that that commandment is a corruption of the original message 'Thou Shalt Not Murder', and the passage it is taken from, is refering to the difference between a person choosing to kill someone (murder) and an executioner carrying out a sentence imposed for a crime. In the Holy Qur'an, the 'eye for an eye' quote is present, making clear that all crimes should be punished with equal result to the guilty party, ie, life for a life, eye for an eye, an ear for an ear, and for all other injuries, equal restitution. However. The following verse makes it clear that if a wronged party forgives the wrong doer, so they do not have to receive equal punishment, the mercy they show will please Allah.
Governments which impose 'sharia law' against its populace in a brutal way, have moved away from the true principles of Islam, no matter how self-righteous they may claim to be, and are little more than tin pot dictators using a corruption of a religion to maintain power. That is not true Islam. True Islam is found nowhere but in the pages of the Holy Qur'an (The hadiths of the prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, are also interesting reading, but, it must be noted, that a passage in the Holy Qur'an clearly stated:
Their guidance is not thine affair, O Muhammad; but Allah guideth whom he pleaseth

Poor Rage Boy. It is pretty insulting to be relegated to a cutesy moniker ending in boy at 29 years old. Especially one that sounds like the next alterna crap band name. Maybe he can go on tour with the gaggle of Mom's still calling themselves the "Spice Girls", this winter.
