So let me get this straight, because apparently one of us is confused. Apparently you are saying that securing our southern border is bad and lower taxes are bad. Correct me if I am wrong but that is what I am reading into your soap box.
I don't get it apparently you aren't married and don't have any kids so those 2 taxes don't affect you so of course it doesn't matter to you. Then you must live in a northern state that isn't affected by the border crossings along the Mexico border, and oh yea, the drug tunnels leading from Mexico into the US. Those don't matter to you because those drugs don't make it to where you live, so we don't need to spend the money on stopping that. Or maybe you want better supply and are hoping that if supply goes up and demand stays the same then the cost will come down. (Or am I to far over your head at this point?) Oh and let's not forget to forgive juveniles for committing crimes. A lot of kids commit crimes or are used to commit them because they know they won't be punished.
One last thing apparently you live in a big city too because you don't care if farmers are taken care of. It doesn't affect me I go to the grocery store and buy what I need. I don't care if that farmers kids have clothing and shoes or food on their table, as long as it is on mine. That is exactly the type of garbage liberal thinking that has put this country in the positioni it is in, going right down the toilet.
People with thinking like that are pushing down on the handle and this great country will be gone before you know it and the terrorists will be here on a regular basis. Remember, as long as we fight terrorism in the Middle East, they are not here killing innocent civilians. We in the military understand our risk, and we are willing to take it for people like you that want us to leave before our job is completed. For people like you that want my brothers in arms that have died over there to have died in vain, for a failed missioin because you don't have the attention span to do what needs to be done.
When he votes to say no to bringing troops home before the mission is complete he is supporting this country and the soldiers and if Congress does not vote to give my friends over there the money to get what they need they should all be voted out. That is what I hope people remember at voting time.

So he likes lower taxes with lower/higher spending than you like in certain areas?
I... don't get it.
He said he never "signed a contract he couldn't keep his word on" but has consistently voted to expand programs and reduce taxes.
In short he is full of shit.
So you get that?
Exactly. The sad thing is, while checkng voting records of legislators (and this is true for even some that I distrust the least), one finds inconsistencies in just about all of them. Sometimes they change minds, and sometimes they just lie or back down to please their "owners."
It does suck. And it is truly disheartening that this bill was not passed.
