This is probably the only thing I read on the news page, except stuff by Bitch_PhD on occasion.

Different strokes, different folks. It's stroking the shit out of me (I'm not the only one it's using its creepy, rubber-gloved finger on either I'm sure) so keep it up.

The soldiers believe the Pentagon "deliberately" wrote their orders for 729 days instead of 730 to fuck them out of their education benefits, which would have been an extra $500 to $800 a month. Minnesota lawmakers are putting pressure on the asshole fuckfaces at the Pentagon to rectify the situation.

This is what people get for electing an MBA president. I mean, who better to lead a country than someone who's been taught to think in terms of dollars and not people's real lives?

I don't post much on here, but I read most of the "news" articles on here. I really do believe the AFR is usually the best article of the week. I actually recall today at work mentioning "shit, today is Saturday, there is a new AFR when I get off." People looked at me strange but fuck them, they don't know what they are missing.

Aside from Issa just being an asshole fuckface already, what he said there wasn't so bad, and was honestly just a solid observation. If you're about to go into a hostile environment, you don't criticize the people who will be your protection.

PS - I get a big kick out of these posts, but often there's little controversy to talk about, so the threads don't get too long.

I think Bill Maher said it best when he called it "fuckup fatigue". These assholes just fuck us over, again and again and again. Every time something new comes it, we're like "Ah, it's Bush. What are we supposed to do?" We're no longer surprised that our government doesn't deserve the support of the citiizenry anymore, we've just thrown up our hands in despair and disgust...

Is there any way to tell how many "hits" these roundups get (as opposed to merely comments)? I get the feeling it might be more than some 12-page-but-hijacked-by-page-2 threads.
And throw in another +1 for the roundups!

Out of idle curiosity, is this "asshole fuckface roundup" series going to continue even when the new threads are one post long?

It ceased being interesting a while ago.

Yes. Don't read it.

I guess my point is, why not put your energy into something that, like, is interesting?

Ah, well I get the most positive feedback from the Roundup.

The site is not actually specifically here for you. There are other people involved as well.

Thanks for the input!

I did frame the question in terms of the general interest of people on the site, not my own personal interest. Some of your threads actually do amuse me, which is why I bothered to stick my head in here in the first place.

These threads don't get many posts anymore. Most of the posts in this particular one have been about whether or not these threads have run their course and become horribly jejune.

But I'm sure the site will continue to pay you to write articles that no one gives a fuck about. I'm sure they'll fail to notice that you have a tendency to revert to your one-trick pony m.o. and that now that everyone knows what the trick is, we've moved on with a shake of the head and a hearty ho-hum. I suppose there are always clueless n00bs for you to provoke. Sounds like a very fulfilling way to make a couple of extra bucks on the side.

So, like, take the feedback or don't. Whatever, dude. I'm sure either way there will still be plenty of cheap drinks and slobberknocking with busted waitresses at Catch A Rising Star or what have you. Have fun with that.

just because people don't reply doesn't mean these threads aren't read. sometimes i am left speechless and go write the asshole fuckface directly...what good does it do me to write the reaper hmmmm? i need to write my senator and make sure they are doing their job...d'oh!

keep writing reaper.

the word oyaji is often also used in Japan to refer to middle-aged men who are not relatives, usually in an unflattering way. For example, an oyaji gag is a stale pun of the type favoured by middle-aged men, and oyaji kusai means "middle-aged" or "unfashionable". Overweight dancer Papaya Suzuki formed a dancing group known as the Oyaji dancers.

Holy fuck, that was truly pathetic coming from you. Hopefully you were not actually thinking any of those sad words would have an effect, because, just, wow. Really, really weak.

Ironic, coming in such a cheesedick, weak-ass thread. I know you're all above it all and shit. It's part of your schtick. I get it. Still, these threads bore the fuck out of me and clearly a lot of other people, too. You can do better.

Well, just try and remember that for every whiney assed post about how boring this shit is, there are 500 people who quietly read, enjoyed, and moved on without scrolling down to read your inane blathering.

Must not be that boring, you can't seem to stop posting in it. So if you really wanted to say it wasn't interesting, that it was boring, 1 post would have been enough. Instead you decided to bitch and moan in multiple posts. Congrats on not proving your own point.

Now, you all may find this funny.

But, it just occured to me that I had not read the Asshole Fuckface Round up this weekend! And much like the Ice Cream Truck appearing in front of my house on Saturday, I need the Asshole Fuckface Round Up to complete my weekend.

So, here I am!

And for once I agree, all of those people are Asshole Fuckfaces.

Anonymous internet heckling is nothing but a bad thing.

(1) It wasn't heckling. It was meant as constructive criticism. I made a joke or two at FTR's expense because he gives every impression of being able to take a joke.

(2) It's not really anonymous. I suppose it is in the sense that people here generally aren't using their real names. But I participate quite frequently in the boards, and I am familiar with FTR's online persona, and he is familiar with mine. That's why he fucking bothered to respond to me in the first place.
