Wow. You know, the second I think i have seen the most irrelevant and not needed news story ever seen on SG, someone steps up to the plate and raises the bar. Thanks Seanbonnor.
And we will stop asking "how is this news?" when stories like this stop showing up. So piss off.

See? Social networking sites really do cause drama.

You people should probably whine more.

if the internet has taught us anything, it's that the inverse of the proper amount of effort will always be applied.

didn't like an article you read on a porn site? good! take time out of your day to tell us how you feel. it matters.

I'm thinking that if they took away the the ability to comment about what you thought of the article then you people would not be subjected to whining. I think that would make you guys much happier seeing as my whining and the whining of a couple others seems to be pretty important to you. I vote we remove the comment system and there by increase the level of happiness of people who hate pointless whining.

honestly, someone's keg stand may have impressed their friends but I wouldn't hire their alcoholic ass either.

But you have to be at least moderately impressed by a girl who can drink from a tap while hanging up side down. wink

She's hired.

Actually there is a recent rise in poor decision-making with regards to personal information online.

Something important is happening:
A new generation of people who have grown up with the Internet are coming online with their own independent online personas. As these people have always had the Internet in their lives, you would think that the idea of identity protection and privacy would have been strongly impressed upon them but it would seem the opposite is true. Either they have become complacent about the issue or "interest groups" claiming to be "protecting children from the evil Interwebs" have prevented these new users from learning the important issues upfront, choosing instead to hope that they'll never find out. Now they have to learn about these problems the hard way.

There are some other issues involved, too. The major generation gap, for example.

Are there people that don't hate pointless whining? I mean, besides the other children that do it?
