I, for one, am not a huge fan of paying ridiculous amounts of money for a rock, whether it be a diamond or a ruby or whatever. Apparently, I'm easy and cheap. Must be why my husband married me.

Well, you've Debbie Downed everything significantly, I was hoping to hear about exploitation, suffering and blood loss over these old, old diamonds.
Maybe some one could trap one of these scientists you speak of in an abandoned mine with nothing but a toothpick and rusty set of pliers?
