I'm glad I'm not the only one who pictured someone in the Situation Room going, "...and then we Zerg Rush into Basrah." The software would undoubtedly continually implore you to mine more resources.
On the non-lethal front, I saw a high frequency energy weapon which induced nerve pain over long distances on FutureWeapons (similar to the worst sunburn of your life over the entire surface of your body facing the weapon... although it apparently does not damage the eyes).
If you ever watch the show, I recommend the following drinking game: drink whenever the host pretends that he, and not his cast of producers, has tabs on every piece of weapon development across the world. Drink whenever something blows up. Chug whenever Mack (a decorated former SEAL) beams with the innocence of a schoolboy over something blowing up.
