I skimmed through the pages so I dont know if anyone has explained this, but the mobius strip is an idealised mathmatical shape in 3 dimensions, it assumes their is no depth in the figure itself, though it can be measured in 3 dimensions, which of course is impossible in our 4 dimensional reality.
The closest thing to replicate this illusion in 4 dimensions with a solid object when exposed to the naked eyes is a looped ribbon warped under its own weight, under a microscope of course we would find the second surface of its which is the cleavage between two unending topological surfaces.
Again I imagine this goes the same for the blown glass shape as well as it definitely has 2 surfaces, one on the outside and one on the inside, unless people are asking for suspension in our beleif in "volume", and that only one surface can exist here, you would think that the proud man displaying his glass blown mobius would have painted over the surface to obscure the transparency in the object that only helps reinforce the volumetric superstition....

Oh yes my little brother reminded me that Mobius is also a comic book Vampire, though we couldnt remember if it was a DC or Marvel character.
Does this corporate dimension really matter?

A. You're thinking of Morbius, the Living Vampire.
B. Marvel.

I'm not entirely sure what you're smoking. A Mobius strip is, in fact, three-dimensional. A Klein bottle is four-dimensional, so every representation of it, including the one on the front page, is a projection of R^4 onto R^3.

did you make all this up in one sitting or did it take a few tries ?

Interesting story! I would not normally read a story related to math, but this really got my attention.
When I look at mobius strip artwork, I am enchanted and confused at the same time.
Klein bottles are cool, and all. And that site is teh awesomesauce.
But I didn't post that.
Yes, yes. I know. Something you posted led me to that, I thought it was cool, so I posted the image, hat-tipped you when it should have been Cigarette. Apologies all around.
