Oh George Bush.
Can he ever do anything right?
He's like the political Inspector Clouseau...
Except more corrupt, less moustached and a far worse actor than anybody who's ever played him.
When will this fuckface ever just... I dunno, cease?
Oh BTW... I too can't believe that "this site" wouldn't be more conservative!!! When I signed up I thought it was a christian dating site
me too....wait....where the hell am i?
Whats wrong with being religious or conservative and enjoying naked women, or alcohol. I mean liberals aren't the only ones who know how to have fun. I am conservative to the core, I like alcohol, porn and good music. I think I am just a little bit of a war monger, I side with religious issues, I disagree with environmentalists and I want to marry someone who will be a stay at home mom. That is the great thing about this country, though I essentially disagree with everything a liberal stands for yet we can still stand on common ground with porn alcohol and music.

It wouldn't be an Asshole Fuckface Roundup without a ridiculous lawsuit. Meet Susan McBride. She's an employee who has been nearly crippled by pretty scents.
An employee in the Detroit planning department who claims she is severely sensitive to perfumes and other cosmetics has sued the city, saying a co-worker's strong fragrance prohibits her from working.
Not since the great pants lawsuit of 2007 has there been a more idiotic use of the judicial system. I can't wait until someone sues a co-worker for showing him or her blueberries. It will happen. A year ago a co-worker started working in the office and nearly killed McBride.
"This employee not only wore a strong scent, but also plugged in a scented room deodorizer," the lawsuit states. "Ms. McBride was overcome by the smell almost instantly, causing her to go home sick."
The co-worker later agreed to stop using the room deodorizer, but kept using perfume, the lawsuit states.
McBride claims the work environment is in "violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act." She is demanding perfumes and other smells be banned at work. Oh, and she wants a cash settlement. The poor woman has been through hell, smelling perfumes and room deodorizers. She is basically a cripple now, from all the smelling and whatnot. She deserves a few million at least. Or, alternatively, someone could cram a deodorizer up her arse.
so you know, there are many cases of people who are, indeed, highly affected by perfumes and other things containing artificial odor molecules. a friend of mine's father will actually go into anaphylactic shock if he encounters a strong dose of the stuff. even if she shouldn't normally be allergic to the perfumes and such, she might have a case of a sympathetic allergic reaction if she had smelled a strong dose of perfume or deodorizer or such while having a severe allergic reaction to something she actually is allergic to. the body imprints and then associates the smelling of the artificial molecules with encountering what she's actually allergic to that she gets the same reaction from them.
so while it might sound like BS, this case (and others like it) shouldn't just be dismissed out of hand because there might actually be something to it. I don't know, as the link didn't say much of anything about it other than the extreme basics and that it was taking place. if she is full of crap, though, then she deserves to be on the list because she makes people less understanding of those who actually do have a problem with them.
and just so you know, i used to have an extraordinarily difficult time breathing when in the presence of strong perfume and air spray. something on the level of a decent asthmatic attack in some cases. others were merely sever nasal congestion and light-headedness. fyi.
Which is odd, coming from someone who even claims to be "not religious."
So I have to wonder if you really disagree with all of these things because you have a serious moral conflict with them after an extensive analysis of all sides of the political and social situations in this nation, or if you were just brought up conservative and, of course, feel obligated to spew out every single last drop of bullshit that is spoon-fed to you from different conservative outlets, whether you actually understand it all or not.
Just to clarify, I don't think this is a trait that is exclusive to just conservatives either. I know plenty of liberal people who do exactly the same thing. They agree with other liberal opinions just because they want to be liberal (whether it's because of upbringing, or associations with their peers, etc...), and actually forming an opinion of their own could either A) take far too much time for them to bother sparing, or B) end up making them realize that they're not as liberal as they want to be.
There's something so scary about this country and its lemming-like attitude towards these parties. You have to agree with every single last thing someone is saying, or you're not a patriot, or you're not a Christian, or you're not an intellectual. So, I guess when I see something like "I side with religious issues" coming from a person who claims to not be religious, it makes me wonder how much this person actually pays attention to what he or she supports, and how much is just ingrained into their brain after years of exposure to a certain opinion.

i'm afraid i don't like most of the politics apparent on this site. but it wouldn't be a problem if y'all would stop being so immature about it. I'm not even a republican and i think it's just silly to call the party in general an "asshole fuckface" every year. you people are caricatures. just thought i'd participate in the annual Roundup!!!! ^_^
I agree which is why even though I have been a member here for a while I rarely comment or care about news put up here.
It's often times juvenile and a lot of pointing out the other side of an already worn out coin.
"I hate product A! Product B rules!" and so on.
Just because they have had dalliances with Playboy in the past doesn't mean people are going to start saying they come to SG to read the articles as well as look at the pics.
So if we can impeach a president for legally lying about getting a blowjob, why can't we impeach a president who is responsible for actual crimes or if nothing else blatant abuse of power.

I think you ought to add Robert Bork to your fuck face round up, under the law suit category.
There is something wired in me that refuses to type that name. I don't know why. I just don't want to even talk about him, good or bad.
When you were a child you had a soft spot in your heart for this guy?
Argggh. That's enough hours spent trawling web toy sites for pictures of that toy we all had back in the 70s (and maybe the 60s and 80s too) where you'd use a magnet to drop these iron shavings onto this guy's face until he looked like Robert Bork.

While I'm not nearly as bad-off as the woman in the article, I have a difficult time walking down the laundry detergent aisle in the supermarket. My skin starts to tingle incomfortably. My skin goes into rashes and horrible itching if the wrong laundry detergent is used.
There's certain stores at the mall I steer far clear of (usually candle stores). A ways-back coworker named Steve used to put on his cologne while his fan was blowing in our general direction. That used to tend to leave me and the hyper-allergic guy by my side gasping for air and breaking into rashes. My skin used to burn whenever he did that.

I dislike all parties, and most politicians, they are people, and are just as fucked up as we are
I hear you. We'd probably be much more productive as a nation if we stopped the Super Bowl mentality of politics and worked together towards a common goal. Unfortunately we're in a society where those who make the money make the rules, and they are rarely in it for the public's best interests.

My sister has a similar problem. In her case, it is specifically related to her severe migraines - where strong scents, smoke, certain chemicals, etc. serve as environmental triggers. As a college registrar, however, she's in a position of some authority. She can ask for rules against this kind of stuff in her office and get them enforced.
There's not very much detail in the linked story, but at least one other article on the subject indicates that this woman's manager agrees with her, and has asked to have a rule instituted banning strong perfumes in her office.
In which case, I would think the asshole fuckface here is the new employee - the one that apparently can't stop dousing herself with perfume, even though it severely bothers a co-worker.
Would it be possible to mark further installments of this series with either a number or the date they're submitted? 'cause it's hard to tell (from the boards, anyway) whether any given "NEWS: Asshole Fuckface Roundup" thread is a new article or an old one that's been bumped.
