Actually, racism is usually okay with them, unless it's blatant and unquestionable. It's something that's often bothered me. They have stronger issues with sexism and homophobia.

Exactly. While not a fan of the Death Penalty, it exists, and this guy must have known that before he decided to kill two people. He had a choice, and chose to TWICE commit acts of total Evil, and knew that being put to Death was a possibility.

And as I pointed out earlier, if it were me in that position, this would seem more of a mercy killing.

It's certainly the farthest thing from a revenge thing. If it were revenge they were after, they'd leave him there to suffer.

Your racism meter is way too sensitive. When you can get upset about someone bitching about the LA riots calling the rioters barbarians for murdering, looting and so on, and you act like that is "racist" where no racial words were used and all BS aside, the folks who rioted were being a bunch of pricks regardless of what ethnicity they were (and they were of multiple ethnicity even if the majority were black), you are being far too sensitive.

I do not look like "grease" or like I am "greasy" in the photo I have on the site. I t was taken at an office by a friend of mine whom I was showing my new digital camera and turned out pretty good for an off the cuff shot. I was not greasy or dirty or unwashed. Sorry - I have at times done serious hard work out doors in the summer in South Louisiana and in East Texas, having large amounts of dirt and real machine grease on me, looking at photos of me in that condition it would be reasonable to say I looked greasy.

Not in a photo of me taken in an office where I had bathed perhaps 4 hours before and not been out of air conditioning all day.
