Wait, so what did this mean?

If you shoot them, they can't pay. Will their next of kin?

I pay taxes in the country where my money is made, and you only pay them in one country. The IRS can't touch me no matter how American I am, hah!

Edited to add: Leaving out that they'd already been through the legal process and were somewhat wacky is plain poor reporting.

I seem to have missed that somehow in my first and second readings. How mortifying.

My cousin who does defense contracting for blackwater gets shit from all the brits and aussies he works with all the time because of that loophole. They are pulling 120k a year tax free because of that awesome part of tax law.

You guys are lucky that you are not taxed solely because of your citizenship

You know, thinking about it, where is the surprise here? I mean, rich people not wanting to put their money into the communal pile. Happens more often than not. Hell, I have no real issue if they knock down the house with the people in it... "The only things guaranteed in life are death and taxes"... welp looks like the IRS might just find a special way to wrap up both of those in one nifty package.

OH and wasn't Ruby Ridge started by someone trying to serve a warrent?

I bet they emerge from their fortress in ethanol powered mechanical exoskeletons. At first the cops will be stunned by the "John 3:16" decals but will take cover as the Browns open fire with their green coal fired hot glue guns. The carnage will be stunning. Alas, the Browns are doomed. Janet Reno will arrive on a Lark personal mobility vehicle wearing full body armor carrying an M-16A2 assault rifle and M203 grenade launcher. After shouting "Die you religious hippie fucks!" she takes out the evil-doers with two skillfully placed shots to the groin.

If it's any consolation, I haven't been taking advantage of the loophole, if that's what it is. Maybe someday, when I start spending more money than comes in...

So we are going to kill two people over money (even if it is a lot of money)?

Sounds like the government I know

Yeah, we should just walk away from them because they apparently have enough money to build a fortress. So what if they're, you know, criminals. And fucking insane.

They probably wouldn't have to worry about paying taxes if they hired a good accountant in the first place. The tax codes cater to the rich, after all.

Indirectly, yes. The government will put a lien on their property, if they haven't done so already. That means that the taxes must be paid out of the proceedings when the property is sold, before title will transfer.

Any way you slice it, Uncle Sam gets paid in the end.

If I could do this I would but I would go to jail .

I do have a problem with the fact that I pay taxes and see a lot of it wasted by the very people that make the laws that are suppose to do good.

I enclosed this link so as to shed light on what the constitution and the changes that have been made state.

Did you actually read what you linked to?

The purpose of this FAQ is to provide concise, authoritative rebuttals to nonsense about the U.S. tax system that is frequently posted on web sites scattered throughout the Internet, by a variety of fanatics, idiots, charlatans, and dupes, frequently referred to by the courts as "tax protesters".

This "FAQ" is therefore not a collection of frequently asked questions, but a collection of frequently made assertions, together with an explanation of why each assertion is false.

And the assertions addressed in this FAQ are not merely false, but completely ridiculous, requiring not just ignorance of law and history, but a suspension of logic and reason.

In this FAQ, you will read many decisions of judges who refer to the views of tax protesters as "frivolous," "ridiculous," "absurd," "preposterous," or "gibberish." If you don't read a lot of judicial opinions, you may not understand the full weight of what it means when a judge calls an argument "frivolous" or "ridiculous."

...

And from the part that you linked directly to...

(Tax protesters say: ) "Wages cannot be taxed because the exercise of a fundamental right cannot be taxed and the right to work is a fundamental right reserved to the citizens of the United States by the 10th Amendment to the Constitution."

This is absolutely wrong in every way.

The idea that there may be rights or privileges that are exempt from taxation has been rejected from the very beginnings of the United States.

...

It then goes on to explain very extensively why it is wrong that wages cannot be taxed.

I understand that you are disappointed in the way your taxes are used, but that is a political problem, which should be dealt with by voting for politicians whose platforms include changing the way your taxes are used towards a more benefical usage, you know, democracy style.

It doesn't mean the principle of taxation is wrong.
