What about Pandemonium or whatever they're calling it now? Especially the gith, as they are definitely more evil than Chaotic Neutral.

The Pandemonium Fortress?

That would be the one precisely, thank you.

So, what happens to you if you are a good person but just not Christian?

Also, surreal.

Why, you go right to hell. If you're an adult, you had the chance to accept Jesus Christ but you opted not to. The babies got to have limbo because they never had a chance to be good Christians.

What about aborted babies?

Yummy.

*Fuck you Serious Cat*

FOUL! That doesn't answer the question! Obviously, God gets quite irate. We knew that already. But what the fuck happens to the sperm?

See, that's just a silly question. And again, one that only a secular humanist could ask.

Life begins at conception. You can commit self-abuse or have nocturnal emissions to your sin-rotted heart's content, and the only soul you condemn to the everlasting fire will be your own.

Using condoms is just the same as abusing yourself inside somebody else. Except that it also ruins them and condemns them to hell, too.

I'm okay with that, but I want a Death Star for my company vehicle.

What do you do with all the illegal refugees from Limbo? Will they do the jobs that the Seraphim won't? Won't someone think of the Cherubim who got into heaven legally?

These concerns of yours are completely absurd.

The Invisible Hand of the Market will sort it all out, just like it always does. Sure, Heaven might have to make some cutbacks to stay competitive, but it all works out in the end. A rising tide lifts all boats, you know.

what i find "somewhat self-contradictory" is the whole idea that these babies are being born with original sin and need to be baptised in the first place, but now the damn pope is claiming these unbaptised babies are "innocent" just so he can abolish what is only a theory to begin with! what the fuck??

Sounds like the first steps of the church moving towards being pro-abortion.

The concept of reincarnation was not an altogether unfamiliar belief among early Christians. However, the ascendancy of the Holy Roman Empire and the Orthodox Church eliminated these relevant and significant beliefs and thus had to invent an answer to fill in the holes left behind after it had been purged (after all, they didn't want to have a bunch of people rising from the dead to live again, that was the big guy's turf now, at least not until the second coming and Armageddon ). But why limbo? Well the poor lost souls just had to go somewhere, but without the sacrament of baptism, then where? Bring in the Greeks! Elysium may have been the inspiration for the invention of Limbo, it conveniently allowed a familiar concept from a neighboring and well studied culture to be reapplied so that things would just work out. Dante doubtlessly envisioned Limbo as containing Elysium, placing many noteworthy pre-Christian scholars and philosophers including many Greeks (like Plato and Aristotle) within this upper region of hell's Inferno in his works from The Divine Comedy.

Personally, I think all the innocent, non-Christian, the unbaptized all go to a great island of cheese floating in the sky. They will stay there only to descend, cherubicaly upon the earth one day, bearing silver platters stacked high with grilled cheese sandwiches, quesadillas and fondue dip to share with all believers. The unbelievers all get the gripes instead.

Good luck with that, the Mormons will have converted your grandparents after they've died!

You wait till you get to Heaven and THEY start chewing you out for drinking coffee and not wearing "magic underwear." And you just thought they wished you'd keep Kosher and marry "a nice Jewish girl my hairdresser told me about..."

Where are the slaadi and githyanki going to live now?

Concordant Opposition? After all, the Pope didn't say anything about that.

The plane of true neutraility. I don't think they're a good fit there. I'd go with Pandemonium though githyanki have immigrated to the Astral, according to my sources (though they may be a bit outdated).

Supposedly there is a passage in the New Testament where Jesus talks to Paul (I think). Paul is very discouraged of the suffering the benevolent God puts his children, albeit evil, through in Hell. And Jesus shares a little known tenent of their faith... everyone will eventually go to Heaven, shh, don't tell anyone, He says. Apparently even those in Hell will one day ascend to Heaven.

And just for clarification, LImbo isn't just for unbaptized children, it's also for the followers of any other Faith-- Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, even non-believers-- who never accepted God but were good people who lived a good life, right?

How can anyone follow a religion that keeps reforming its Beliefs? They took away Christopher's sainthood... I've had problems ever since then.
