In general, I don't think there's any more danger of a Mormon president taking marching orders from Gordon B. Hinckley than there was of, say, Kennedy toeing the Vatican party line just because he was Catholic (which was an oft-cited fear back then).

There's no way in hell I'd vote for Mitt, but it's not because he's Mormon.
