Right on man! You got to experience something no one else really has, that's always cool. I always thought you did a great job. Don't let anyone make you feel otherwise. Wil Wheaton's tha bomb! smile

You've got me a little choked up too...I forgot how much I enjoyed watching star trek! A for what it's worth, I though Wesley Crusher was great!

I have to agree with this 110%.

I remember that when most kids my age were out getting into trouble, I was at home watching the Enterprise going where no one has gone before and loving every moment of it.

The love I have for the show has everything to do with the characters; how even though they were living in an enlightened future, you still felt like you could sit down and talk to them (if they were real. wink), and Wesley was one of those major characters who was so endearingly awkward that any teenager could identify with him.

PS ~+> I always had a crush on Wesley. blush

That was an amazing story, heh i've always loved star trek too. Must of been great to get to do all that stuff, I remember you well from all those shows, crazy stuff. Sounds like a great moment you had, I think you sold me on going to vegas next month, hah. Wow. Good stuff though.

Looks like I'm a few years late in commenting, but I thought this was amazing and couldn't pass up the chance. The Next Gen series just came out on NetFlix instant steaming recently so I've been watching them from the beginning whenever I have time. I just saw the episode where Wes falls for the shape-shifting alien chick and can totally understand his comment about the writers struggling to make his character believable. Wes was awesome tho... and so is Wil Wheaton I've discovered after reading this. And even with the very outdated effects and dorkiness, The Next Gen is still so entertaining to watch. Too bad they got rid of the Vegas ride/show. There's a great special feature about it on the blu-ray set of The Next Gen movies... if you get the chance to watch it, I suggest you make it so.
