You'd be even more surprised by the number of people who disagree with it.
Not to mention that most people who really disagree would pretend not to.
Well, no, what is more frightening to me is the number of people who overtly state that freedom of speech, freedom of assembly and freedom from unwarrented searches are less important to them than the "security" of "knowing" that the "terrorists" have been checked.
These are the "well if you are not doing anything wrong, you have nothing to worry about" people.

I'm not a Republican. I have as much disdain for the republican party as I do for the Democratic, which I guess on this site makes me a Republican
Both voted in the Patriot Act, both should share the blame when its being dished out. People should keep that in mind
