I'm sure many of us diehard Family Guy fans were worried that the new episodes were going to come on and let us down. But that hasn't happened; the new episodes are just as good and in some ways better than the previous seasons. Much of that credit can be attributed to Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane. But one mustn't forget his team of talented writers. One such writer/producer Steve Callaghan needs extra recognition because he just wrote the book Family Guy: Stewie's Guide to World Domination.

Thats a long ass interview.

I love:

Yeah it's not Cold Mountain. It's just a silly little humor book.

I'm going to get a snack and come back to finish the rest of it.

SC: When I was the writer's assistant during those first few episodes I pitched a gag where Peter is sitting at the breakfast table with Brian. Peter says "Brian look, there's a message in my cereal, OOOOOOO" and Brian says "Peter those are Cheerios."

DRE: I remember that joke very well.

Me too. "Brian! My Alphabits are trying to tell me something!"

I'm so glad this show was resurrected. Has anything like this happened to another show (bringing it back from cancellation)?

and now a family guy straight to dvd movie apparently. great interview, very insightful.

The Fox legal department insisted on looking it over and asked me to change some stuff. On a personal note I feel like there were some jokes that were funnier before the legal department got a hold of them.

damn legal departments! the bitchy, celeb-baiting comments are the funniest:

brian: what can we do that takes half an hour?
stewie: watch five minutes of rita rudner do stand-up.
brian: BA-ZING!

Dude, I clicked on the link for the OC Music Supervisor interview, and it said that was what I was reading at the top, but the whole thing was about the Family Guy writer. BUG!
