In honor of opening their new, 24-hour-a-day flagship store on the southeast corner of Central Park in Manhattan this past weekend, Apple has temporarily taken over their site's front page to pay tribute to the occasion, posting 24 unique timelapse video clips of customers moving to and fro in front of the new location.
"Sort of neat, but, eh," you're probably saying as you shrug to yourself right now...but then you watch this one clip here, and your heart warms, and you say, "Wow, who knew that geeks could love, too?"
Because in this one clip, one loving guy used the time-lapse technology to propose to his girfriend. First, he unveils a posterboard reading "Uschi Lang," then moves to a second one that says, "I LOVE YOU", until closing on the killer maneuver, 'Will You Marry Me?"
Of course, it probably doesn't bode too well for the impending marriage that Ms. Lang wound up watching this video clip on her Sony Vaio laptop...

where is the actual store, am i right in thinking the actual store is "underground" with only the empty glass cube sitting on ground level?
Apple cultists.....Say one thing about their beloved iWhateverTheFuckItIs, and they take offense. Here's a fun activity, why don't you go burn some Dell or Gateway catalogs hehe
Wow...talk about commited. I'm confused on one point though....what's wrong with spending Valentine's Day at the arcade? I spent part of my honeymoon at various arcades.
