I don't know about you, but I needed some cheering up today.

I tried a few methods, but here are the ones that ended up working for me, courtesy of YouTube.

(a) David Bowie, grooving and jerking and pantomiming in an utterly amazing way to the song "Fame," on Soul Train from 1975;

(b) this clip of Heino. (I'm told Heino is an acquired taste, but once you've acquired it, it does the trick.)

That Bowie clip was entertaining, but did you see this one? David Bowie & Cher circa 1975 surreal

Words can't really be found for everything that is perfect about David Bowie's music.

i thought so too. not particularly the bjork version, but the song that was written in the 30s and made popular by billie holiday. i don't really care for bjork's version...

as much as i love david bowie, he was really retarded during the late 70s and 80s...

how much coke did he have to do in order to pull that off? there should be a club for bowie fans on this site.
