The British are running into the same issues as Americans when it comes to the movie Kinsey_ Christian fundamentalists in Great Britain have persuaded the managers of London Underground to censor the movie poster for the film so that the words "masturbation, sleaze, and orgasm" now read "pleasure" and "sexuality."

I never saw the movie, though I wanted to. Was it any good?

I can't wait to see the film. The media (billionaire corporations) seems to want to cover up anything pertaining to actuall sexual gratification, albeit man, woman, maturbation, fucking. But its okay to show killing. I don't get it.

i wonder if these Christian fundamentalists threatened to put a bomb on a train...

what's wrong with "masturbation, sleaze and orgasm"? that's what the film's about; these things are going on every day, all over the world. why pretend they're not? and when will Christians learn that sexuality is not something to be ashamed of? where's the victim?

consider this - every time i see a cross, i of course think of Christ - whom i am expected to embrace as my lord and saviour, or suffer an eternity of concentrated agony and despair, regardless of what kind of life i lead. now, i find that pretty fucking offensive, and i see it every fucking day. where's my censorship?!

and how about those bible quotations you can find on the walls of any train station? "The fool hath said in his heart: there is no God"...excuse me, but i would like to use public transport without having short, sharp judgements shoved in my face. and Christians get upset about a film? sigh...

OMG, I'd never had realised people had *sex* until I saw this poster. What, they do it in different ways? Like that?

I work at a movie theater and we had the movie Kinsey for like a week before it was pulled from the theater. ....I guess that's why they call it the Bible Belt

It's one thing to just complain about the poster, but to completly take it out of thearters is fucked up. I bet all those bible belt people say that Kinsey is going to hell too. But then again who isn't going to hell, really?
