Whatever her reasons for leaving, I'm sad she's left but hope that that 'real world' thing treats her well, and she is just and merciful in her treatment of it in return.

as a rule of thumb, when a girl leaves the site, if you don't know why they did or where they are going, it's poor form to ask. leaving SG, for many, is indicative of a change in lifestyle, and part of that is leaving SG, and it's members, behind.

for us jaded, cynical assholes who've been around here a while, it reeks of quasi-stalkerism. plus, the fact that you were here for almost none of flux's awesome tenure on the site, that also doesn't help your SG cred.

In short - her beauty, wit, and charm lured me to the site and convinced me to part with my American dollars with unprecedented regularity.

It was her Nov 2003 Dune set that convinced me to stay past the initial curiosity and it was her persistent attention to quality and wit that kept me from firing off strong missives to Sean and Missy about the "site community."

I will miss her

Thanks for fucking up my day Flux, but I'll trust you did so with good reason. You are definitely one of the few girls whose sets I repeatedly looked forward to and whenever they appeared were so great they just never quite felt like enough. So, I guess now there never will be enough and I only hope that some new girl can come along and try to fill that void. SG has it's share of problems, but you were one of its shining lights. I'll miss you.

It's interesting how when someone else had a similar comment near the beginning of this, everyone was very positive. If you feel like a site about news, politics, and empowerment is nothing but a 'nudie site,' then I feel kind of sorry for you. Flux wasn't just a model, she was also a very important contributor on the staff. I kind of feel like it's views like yours that may have led to her disillusionment and departure. I had no "connection" to her, I'm happily married. I did, however, respect her. I just get amazed by how much hate there is when everyone becomes anonymous.

What's funny is that if you knew her at all, you could guess the second sentence there just by reading the first.
