Maybe you were under an unlisted rock? biggrin

I had never seen a trailer for the movie but we saw it in a video store one night. Even the nudity doesn't help this flick. Seriously, it's bad...even for a "B Movie."

Oh my. My adolescent self will not soon forgive me for missing that, either.

I refer you to the previous bridge-jumping post.
I can blame Hunter, 'cause she's the one that jumped off the bridge and landed on me.

Like I said to my sister when she raged at me for telling her the ending of Harry Potter "it's not the destination, it's the journey" tongue

I love Journey.

Hmm, I might need to read the book. it sounds pretty interesting. smile Well, I guess we will all have to wait and see if this bombs or not. It sounds kind of like it is just going to be a renter. I don't know though tongue

I like Ellis's books a lot and really enjoyed "The Informers" - heck, I even got my copy signed by the author himself!

But I can't see it being made into a movie (i'm sure someone else has mentioned this). It's basically plotless and is just a jumble of scenes and letters and descriptions about characters who may or may not know one another.

good book tho

I thought the same thing about The Rules of Attraction, and was pleasantly surprised by how well the film worked.

Out of all the Ellis books I've read (and I have read them all) I liked this one the least. I'll see it for sure, though.

Hunter, I feel exactly as you described every time I read an Ellis book. Yet I can't seem to put them down.

This could potentially be excellent. Either that, or it could be the worst thing to come out in years. Either way, I'm sure Ellis will somehow prevail.
