Exactly. When biting is done right, you have to be able to tell the difference between simple screaming-from-pleasure, screaming-because-this-really-hurts-and-I-like-it-that-way, and a signal of you-should-really ease-off-now.

My gf sometimes jokingly asks "when did I become a chew toy" - but that's more from the casual nibbles, not the serious bites.

I had a surprise nipple bite on the dancefloor this weekend. Very nice.

as odd as it sounds I have the habit of starting off nice and then slowly clenching down until they scream or until I start to feel my teeth touch.
