Sprang is a technique similar to plaiting, which is simlar to braiding. It looks more like weaving, though. There's a picture on my site of a spranged wire sample.

I am with you on the next section tabs. I hate them. So mini-tabs it is!

Hmm... I'll have to think a bit on how to rename the Text section. It includes a variety of types of text (artist's statement, resume, research papers), so it's tricky. "Info" doesn't really sum it up either. Do you think it should be separated into 3 sections and then have an added 4th (and 5th?) section for "About Vuokko" or "News" or something?

Don't worry-- I'm not reading any of this as mean. If you were like, "It sucks and there's no way to fix it!" then that would be mean, but I've found what you have to say very helpful so far. I've been working on it so long it's hard to really step back and see it from an outsider's perspective.
